Domestic Violence

CARC’s domestic violence support groups were developed to provide a safe and confidential space for individuals affected by intimate partner violence to share their experiences, receive emotional support, and connect with others facing similar challenges. Facilitated by trained professionals, these groups focus on healing, empowerment, and rebuilding self-esteem while being psych educated. Participants learn coping strategies, explore resources for safety planning, identify different types of abuse and gain access to legal, emotional, and practical assistance. The group aims to create a sense of community and encourage personal growth while fostering hope and resilience in a supportive environment. These workshops are provided in English and Spanish on a weekly basis. For more information or to register please contact us and ask for the Department of Family Violence Prevention.

Sexual Assault

Our Sexual Assault support groups offer a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for survivors to share their experiences, process their emotions, and begin healing. Facilitated in English and Spanish by trained professionals, these groups provide education about trauma, coping mechanisms, and self-care strategies while fostering a sense of community among participants. The focus is on empowerment, reducing feelings of isolation, and promoting recovery through mutual support and understanding. Sessions often include discussions, resources for further assistance, and tools to help survivors rebuild their lives with strength and resilience. The sessions are held only in Person.
